Potato-Spinach Patties

Go for Green! Healthy, gluten-free and vegan potato-spinach patties.

Ingredients

  • 500 gr. Potatoes
  • 250 gr. Fresh Spinach
  • 1 Pinch Salt
  • 1 Pinch Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Ground Indian fleaseed husks

Instructions

  1. Cook the potatoes in water for about 20-25 minutes and then peel them hot.

  2. Wash the spinach and mash half of it and cut the other half finely.

  3. Crush the peeled potatoes with the potato masher and add the spinach.

  4. Add salt, pepper and the Indian psyllium seeds and mix well.

  5. Then form balls and press them flat with the palm of your hand. 

  6. You can either cook the patties in the oven (fan oven 180 degrees) for 20-25 min. or fry them in a frying pan. You can also fry the patties.
